My vanity must haves

Little life update: Blake, Cooper & I moved into a house last month and its been so fun! We have a huge backyard so you can imagine how happy Cooper is. All our furniture and decorations are slowly coming together, but one thing I’m obsesssssed with is my vanity! We didn’t have room for a vanity in our apartment, so I’m just loving having one now. I got the mirror a little bit ago at Homegoods and the vanity desk is from Ikea! They go so perfectly together and match the rest of our brown furniture we have throughout the house.

On top of my vanity I like to have my favorite candle (Capri Blue Volcano; its the most amazing candle you’ll ever come across), my makeup brushes, perfume, and jewelry bowl.
The little wooden decor that says “today is a good day for a good day” and the “cute as a cactus” jewelry bowl are both from Francesca’s. They just brighten up the vanity and add more cuteness to it.
You can get a simple brush holder from TJ Maxx or Homegoods, and the perfume can be found almost anywhere. I’ve been wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy for years now and won’t switch to anything else. The bottles last me foreverrr and they also look adorable on top of your vanity.

Currently, my makeup go-to’s are:

• Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – the woman in Dillards told me it was the #1 foundation in the world so I obviously had to get it (haha who knows if that’s true but I’m definitely loving it so far!)
• Tarte’s Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette – the colors are very pigmented and last through a long day at work, when being used with an eyeshadow primer.
• Tarte’s Brazilliance Plus self-tanner: giving us a nice natural color when we don’t have time to go out and tan!
• Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Drench Lip Splash lipstick: I literally wear the shade Beach Bum every. single. day. It is SO moisturizing and the colors are SO beautiful. I’m kinda sad because I think they’re discontinuing it soon so I’m going to have to stock up while I can!

Wait…. can you tell I love Tarte products?? I have seriously tried TONS of other companies products from high end -to- drug store and I always find my way back to Tarte. Their products are such great quality, super cute, AND vegan free!
