There is just something about a thick braid that makes me SO happy. I am always braiding my hair and love making my braids look huge… and the secret tip for making them look so thick is pulling your braid apart!!!
It is so easy and makes anyone’s hair look amazing. As you can see in the pictures above, I started by doing a dutch braid down the back of my head. The 3rd picture is my finished braid without any volume. Then, I started at the top (you can start top or bottom) and worked my way through the braid pulling it apart. Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be perfect, the messier the braid the better! You can also add volume by teasing your hair a little before you start your braid.
